Thorney latest...

...as Queen hears about what happened yesterday...

Buckingham Palace has released this photograph of the Queen hearing about what happened at Thorney Lakes yesterday afternoon.

An official spokesman said Her Majesty, celebrating her official 90th birthday this weekend, was "concerned" to learn that a young farmer practicing for tomorrow's Scythe Fair had accidentally bumped into a naked man coming the other way who was there rehearsing for next month's nudist festival.

Local businessman John Leach, pictured above, was one of the first to arrive at the scene of the bloodbath, "I ran home...threw a similar sized lump of clay on my potter's wheel and made the poor chap an emergency strap-on until paramedics arrived" he said.

The Green Scythe Fair, tomorrow, is from 11am til 11pm, cyclists and hikers get in for just £1.
