Got a story?

...Carry On Langport's mail bag 'jam packed' with local rumours, stuff and nonsense...

As the 'Langport Blog' approaches the milestone of being 18 months-old, an increasing number of readers are sending in tit-bits from around the town and surrounding communities.

Several are used, some are 'kept back' until a later date while others - for legal reasons - can never be mentioned and are 'hidden away' in an underground vault until we're all dead.

Like the one about Bike Night at Eli's being merged with Swingers Night at Portland Road, like the one about an undercover someone keeping an eye on somewhere, or the one about the next 'big plan' at The Langport Arms.

Rumours which we are also completely prohibited from even mentioning are the one about the ferret up Huish Church Tower, the closet Manchester United supporter at the flats at The Railway Hotel, what the boys at Chubby's have been up to and the night an angle-grinder fell in the hot tub at The Freemason's Lodge.

All good stuff but unprintable I'm afraid.

Carry On Langport asked Postman Pat (above left) for his views on the huge amounts of male he was receiving [for the blog] but was unavailable for comment - with the Royal Mail saying he was "busy with his round up at Turn Hill Woods"

If you have a local story or amusing locally-taken photograph, be sure to send it in. There's a steady hand here at the keyboard.
