The number one spot to drink in Huish Episcopi has splashed out on a new seat in the men's cubicle this month, putting a smile back on the faeces of drinkers - who've been having to crouch over the porcelain now for several weeks.
"It's wonderful!" said one local at The Rose and Crown, "...I wish they'd sort out the toilet brush as well....it hasn't been changed for ages...there's a halfcrown wedged in the bristles"
But not everyone's impressed with the new seat.
It was discussed by Huish Episcopi Parish Council at an emergency meeting last week - pictured - where members gave it retrospective planning permission when it was discovered a proper application was never submitted.
"Disgusting" said Arthur Daley, from his second-hand car lot next door.
