...as Othery pub's cutlery goes missing...
The London Inn at Othery is to sue the Rose and Crown's skittle team after events during last week's game.
The Huish Episcopi men turned up "giddy and disorientated" at the Inn last Thursday night after the minibus they were in sped out of control as it navigated Seven Bends to get to the village.
Moments before the cutlery disappeared, two of the Eli's team passed out on the pub's floor.
"By ten o'clock all the spoons had gone missing" said the landlady.
The London Inn says its customers will have to eat their jellied eels with knives and forks until an "internal probe" reveals exactly where the missing spoons have gone.
It's also taken 'Death by Chocolate' off the dessert menu until further notice.
