A Langport Town Councillor, alleged to have smuggled himself across the border into Huish Episcopi earlier this month, has been spotted wearing this disguise (pictured) in an attempt to thwart immigration police.
The council member, who hasn't been named, reportedly got through the Hanging Chapel checkpoint several nights ago and is one of hundreds of Langporters who regularly make the dash for freedom hoping for a better life in Huish...and lower council tax.
Police say Huishers who spot him should under no circumstances approach him but tell him to "bugger off back to Bow Street".
These town councillors (above), still in Langport, said they were "deeply concerned" that one of their colleagues had decided to make the perilous journey into Huish and hoped he'd be back soon.
There are no further details at present.
