Apologies for an error in a story earlier this week which has now been corrected. (it's the first time we've ever published anything non-factual)
Despite our report to the contrary, the Langport.life website does say what time volunteers should turn up if they want to help town councillors erect the town's festive decorations on Sunday morning. It's 9 o'clock.
Maybe while you're holding the ladder you can ask them why the clock's knackered, who's buying the Arms [this week] and who took and probably sold the gold-plated weather vane that used to be on the spire at All Saints Hall.
