VIAGRA BLUNDER AT EASTOVER

Footballer 'stable'

A Langport footballer remains in hospital this evening after collapsing at home yesterday not long after taking what he believed to be his prescription viagra tablet.

The 27 year-old had been fumbling around in the kitchen cupboard during a power cut at his home at Eastover trying to find the medication and - it's suspected - took a rectangular blue dishwasher tablet by accident. He later had a severe reaction as he made love to his girlfriend.

"I knew something was wrong when the softener kicked in..." she said.

The woman - too - had a nasty accident moments later when while trying to get her husband to the front door in the dark...tripped over on the landing and impaled herself on the upright hoover at the bottom of the stairs.

A spokesman at Musgrove Park Hospital told Carry On Langport the man, who has asked not to be named, should make a full recovery once he's gone through a full cycle.

"What about his girlfriend?" we asked.

"She's picking up very nicely" he told us.

There are no further details.
