Whilst many people may appreciate the need for CCTV, signing in at reception and wearing a visitors' badge - the powers that be now insist on any visitor being escorted to their destination on the inside.
The escorts, according to our unconfirmed sources, are members of staff and senior students who are already busy and probably have more important things to do.

However, a spokesman for the Academy - pictured - defended the new escorting system.
"It's totally justified" he said, "especially when you consider the mass shootings and kidnap attempts we had at Huish last year"
Anyone visiting the Academy is now advised to bring sandwiches, a flask, a passport and a character reference signed by a local magistrate.
