There's been traffic chaos in and around Long Sutton today as at least a week's worth of resurfacing work gets underway with both sides of the A372 closed to traffic.
The diversion signs - as always with the Highways Agency - aren't always as clear or well-placed as they could be.
"It's disgusting" said a woman living on the village green, "members of the working class keep asking me for directions"
But not everyone's bothered by the disruption, "people driving past us at night can't usually find us anyway" said a member of staff at Long Sutton Golf Club...as she googled "what's an illuminated sign?"
