Live Music at Langport Saturday Night

with Fanny Hatstand!

Hang on that's a Christmas Tree with her...

Yep - that's a hatstand.

This advertisement hasn't started off too well.

Here's the proper flier - sorry.

Fanny Hatstand returns to All Saints Hall

Autumn has well and truly kicked in and that means Fanny Hatstand is back, the live music promoter which brings a handful of bands and musicians to North Street's All Saints Hall once a month.

The event, with its own bar, drew in the crowds last time round and organisers are hoping the word continues to spread.

Go down and check it out.

It comes as a handful of 'Langort Elders' raise their eyebrows over the name of the promoter.

"I think some people find the use of the word 'hatstand' rather offensive" said one woman, "not something the working classes can relate to...they all use coat hooks in the hallway"

Carry On Langport asked Fanny if she'd ever had a hook in her hall...

...but the award-winning TV music promoter refused to comment.

All Saints Hall, Saturday, from 8pm - be there!

There are no further details.
