Carry On Langport's view counter will tick over to a quarter of a million at some point this week.
The blog is currently getting about two and a half thousand views per week, and according to Google which provides the free blog service - the highest ever read story was a recent one.
Entitled R.I.P and published on October 4th, it reported the closure of Natwest bank and, to date, has clocked up a little over 3000 views.
In second place came 'Arrests at Huish Episcopi Pub' from July this year with just over 2,300 views.

The quarter-of-a-million milestone, I think, is my cue to bow out and let someone else takeover.
Yes, I'm afraid I've sold out.
