Carry On Langport!: Carols at Huish

Oh dear - let's start again...

St Mary's Carol Service - this evening!

Why not pop in to Huish Church this evening (Weds) for Christmas carols and have a sing-song.

All the classics are on the playlist, get down there and help raise the roof...whatever your beliefs...come on it's Christmas.

None of this American "happy holidays" rubbish here.

There'd been fears the service at Huish this evening might not take place but The Church of England says it's "delighted" to see this year's carols back on at St Mary's.

Last year they had to be abandoned mid-service when a bellringer's yule log got stuck up a choir girl's cassock when he sneezed during Ding-Dong Merrily on High...6 people were injured.

The carol service today at Huish church begins at 6.30pm.

I wonder if any of our new town councillors will go? Nice for our local reps to turn out at these events eh.

Other carols at churches in Muchelney, High Ham, Aller, Long Sutton and Pitney are all on Sunday.
