Royal Engagement

New owners of Langport Arms revealed

Forget all the fuss at the palace, Langport's own royal couple have a new engagement....with the Langport Arms.

The pair, pictured, will take over from Malcolm & Richard - who've run the hotel for over 25 years - in the coming days.

Our reporters say they have "no idea" who the baby nor whose the baby is, details are still coming in.

Far more important though is Malcolm & Richard's big leaving do: a disco upstairs in the function room and a party atmosphere downstairs too...all after the fireworks over Cocklemoor tomorrow (Sat) which start at 6.30pm.

"I may have a few drinks" said Malcolm, pictured above watching his CCTV last Saturday night.

"Oh bollocks" said Richard, "better make sure all the staff know where the defibrillator is"

For those of us saddened by the departure of our old friends....have no fear. They're only moving to the Taunton area and plan to move back to the Arms when the old coach house is converted into living accommodation.

Thank God for that boys, we thought you may have booked into Portcullis House.

Malcolm & Richard's leaving party (an open invitation went out last week on Facebook) is Saturday, any time after the fireworks til late....oh very late.
