Animal charity near Langport accused of 'slave labour'
Video footage has emerged which appears to prove recent allegations that some of the animals at the Heaven's Gate animal sanctuary near Langport are being forced to work for no wages.
The rumours began last year when in June there were reports hedge monkeys had been spotted working on the front path at the King's Head at nearby High Ham.
Now images have been released which animal rights activists claim they recorded with a secret camera.
Police say they clearly show how the charity is running a number of 'undercover' operations at Heaven's Gate, all designed to make money...and using animals to do the work.

The material has been handed to the Crown Prosecution Service.
