WINTER APPEAL

As John Leach runs out of antifreeze

As icy roads and the threat of snow make life increasingly difficult across rural England, an urgent appeal's gone out from Muchelney Pottery.

Award-winning potter John Leach says his stock of antifreeze has run out, anyone who can help is asked to drop off supplies as soon as they can.

In other news...

Winter panic is already setting in across Langport and Huish Episcopi.

Police had this message for any members of the Snowflake Generation struggling to cope:

"If you see any signs of ice, snow and frost in winter" said PC Brace from his sledge at The Newtown Inn, "drop everything and dial 999"

More news in our next bulletin...stay tuned.
