It's somebody else's leftovers - but go and take a look folks.
For those of us who didn't know - the reason the trader under the clock disappeared earlier this year is because she...well...we believe the technical term is 'did a runner'.
It's alleged the individual owes money to both Langport Town Council/Trust and Langport Area Business Group - and in fact since her departure it's emerged there are [or were] county court judgements against her regarding previous ventures.
The town council/trust, with its fingers burnt, has now announced it will take financial references from anyone who applies to lease The Undercroft...as it's called.
In the meantime, they are selling off what she left behind and you can see a selection of it in the video at the head of this story.
The sale, whose proceeds will go towards the over-budget clock repair fund, is tomorrow (Fri) from 10am until midday.
Fair enough.
So whose going to rent it next? Let's hope it's somebody useful. It's a great space, choose well town council....choose well!
