Volunteers needed...
Langport's Christmas lights go up in early December and as usual it'll be all done by volunteers.
Carry On Langport's been asked to put out a call for help on December 1st.
It's a Sunday morning and if you can make it, be at the town hall at 9am - although in years gone by help's turned up after that and there's still been plenty to do from climbing ladders to unravelling cables and passing lights up the ladders etc.
The event's become increasingly popular in recent years as it's the annual opportunity North Street, Cheapside and Bow Street residents get to peer inside their neighbours' upstairs windows.
Nevertheless - new help is always needed as the same people can't always make it. So put the date in your diary, on your phone, on your calendar etc - the lights can't put themselves up folks.
