Many thanks to all who took part in and attended the carboot sale event on the riverside at Langport yesterday.
Including Fine Tuned Brewery, Noodles Ice Creams and Little Van Rouge.
Also to Daniel Quinton and the Merchant Men for providing the music and the 20 plus stallholders who set up on the grass.
No idea who the two semi-naked acrobats were who randomly turned up but they were pretty good too!
- and last but not least thanks to the Duchess of Cocklemoor doing boat rides on the river.
Funds raised go towards the upkeep of Cocklemoor so it can continue to be used as a safe and tidy public space.
Sounds like there'll be another carboot event in the spring 👍
Thinking ahead to the end of this year, wouldn't it be great if some folks could get together and do some sort of Christmas Fair as an alternative to the one that's been cancelled. Even a scaled-down version?
If one person can organise yesterday in a matter of weeks, surely something can be thrown together in Langport for the kids this Christmas?
