Thanks for that.....

Cheapside, Langport, last night.

Could the person who dumped this in the doorway and on the pavement outside St Margaret's charity shop last night possibly pop down this morning [Thursday] and help staff get in?

Cheers 👍

IN OTHER NEWS

Work begins on Langport's latest cafe

Building work's begun on Langport town centre's new 'rooftop' cafe this week.

The business, the town's 48th cafe, hopes to open up on the public toilet block by spring next year.

It comes as another, inside a bookshop, prepares to open down on Bow Street.

Good luck with that.

Finally....

Rose and Crown switchboard 'inundated'

Eli's, in Huish Episcopi, says it's new phone system [pictured] has broken down 3 times already this week as members of the public ring in for details of its final weekend this year.

The pub's closing until at least the spring as the family hand the business over to the next generation.

Several music nights are being planned in the lead up to October 31st.

Carry On Langport will be letting you know who's playing when in the coming days.

Log in again soon!

Many thanks for the contributions.
