Who remembers this dropping on the mat?
Back in the day before The Leveller, apart from the Langport edition of the Western Gazette, this was pretty much the only other way hundreds of us around Langport and Huish and the surrounding villages got our news and advertising.
Forget word processors, the editor of the Roundabout Magazine did most of it with a typewriter single-handed.
Here we take a look at who was advertising what 35 years ago when The Editor was Lundie Rees.
Looking at these old ads from January 1987, it's amazing to think that over 3 decades have now passed.
Back when you got your Black Magic chocolates at Bow Cards, hired a digger from Oswall Plant or asked Nigel Gratton to fix your television (when Cyril Head was too busy).
Langport even had its own Travel Agent!
