Unlike the glorious displays of red, white & blue in Somerton, Martock, Long Sutton and other nearby communities - none of our town councillors (11? 12 of them?) had any interest in hanging even the cheapest bunting across the front of our town hall for either the late Queen's last jubilee or the coronation of King Charles.
Let's see if we can coax them in to spending less than a tenner of public money on doing something for the 80th anniversary of VE day!
