OVERSHOOT!
Avenue residents catapulting themselves over the railway embankment to get around the road closure at the bridge on North Street have found themselves out of pocket this week.
At least 5 people, hoping to get to Tesco, overshot on Wednesday and hit the Vets on Bow Street instead.
They were charged 90 quid just for landing and then a further 50 quid after they walked in to reception and asked where they were.
The human catapult manufacturer - ACME - says it's now adjusted the device, on Shires forecourt, and that users could now rest assured they'd come down somewhere in the old SWEB yard.
There are no further details.
