With the rumour mill out of control across the shire in recent months on who's in the line-up to take over Langport's last pub, there's been a development this week.
Bookmakers Paddy Power and William Hill say they're about to release odds on a handful of likely 'runners'.
They include a joint bid from Sonny & Cher (Eastover), Zsa Zsa Gabor (Kingsbury), another joint bid by the Driscoll Brothers (Aller) and a local retired utility company engineer.
So who will it be?
No mention of a bid from the local knackers yard then?
Either way, all the best to whoever takes it on. Let's just get the place open again eh!
