Friday night 'peaceful so far'
No major news stories to reveal so far this Friday night.
Police say it's "incredibly quiet" with one of their officers, pictured above, found asleep earlier on Kelways Roundabout.
However, they are following up the theft of garden furniture, tables in the beer garden, at Lou Lou's earlier this week. At least two men were seen leaving the scene in a white van. That means 3 customers have visited the former Black Swan this year. The other being a woman blown through the front windows during gale force winds a fortnight ago.
In other news, there are unconfirmed reports of a brief power cut at Chubby's last night.
But it's not thought to have affected sales.
