Charity Shop to improve lighting
We understand lighting issues at one of Langport's new charity shops will soon be dealt with. Customers have been 'fumbling around in the dark' at the premises, on North Street, with several Portcullis House residents allegedly accused of 'gross indeceny'. Until the problem's resolved, the management say price tags in the shop will be printed in braille.
The manageress at the nearby St Margaret's Hospice shop, pictured above left with her daughter, said she sympathised with the North Street charity and wished them well.
