Front page 'too graphic'.
Several people have contacted the Western Gazette to complain about this week's front page which features a 'graphic image' of traffic moving through Charlton Mackerel.
The Langport and Somerton edition's headline is 'Bedlam on Roads' and describes a 0.8 mile stretch of the A37 through the village being closed in both directions for resurfacing work which means drivers are having to take lengthy diversions.
(Forget the civil war in Syria - this is BEDLAM)

Horrifically, the photograph under the headline shows 3 white vans moving down the street in the same direction. Several newsagents across South Somerset have refused to sell the paper and the Press Complaints Commission has been informed.
