Armed Robbery in Bow Street

Pensioner raids Chinese Takeaway

The diplomatic row between Buckingham Palace and China deepened yesterday when the Queen held-up staff at the Happy Garden in Langport's Bow Street.

Her Majesty, recorded earlier this week refering to Chinese diplomats as "rude", fled with chicken chop suey for herself and Prince Phillip and a large banana fritter with icecream for Prince Edward.

"She looked pretty angry" said a passer-by, "but Prince Edward seemed to be delighted, we could see him enjoying his fritter in the back seats of the limo as they fled the scene."

There are also unconfirmed reports that as she sped through Long Sutton minutes later, the Queen fired at the windows of the Devonshire Arms...where earlier this month she and the Duke of Edinburgh were asked to leave the restaurant area for being "too working class".

An investigation into both incidents is underway.
