Crowds flock to Thorney
Congratulations to the organisers of the Green Scythe Fair at Thorney Lakes yesterday. As you can see from the photo, the rain didn't spoil the event and old favourites like the strimmer versus scyther race went ahead as well as there being live music and good food and drink.
The hippy count was rather high and the heavy downpours meant hundreds of them had their dreadlocks washed for the first time this year...with one woman having to be revived by paramedics when she realised she was blonde.
Great day out, good stuff.
