Clock's ticking as votes continue to pour in for High Street awards
Voting closes on Friday in the Great British High Street awards.
Langport is in the final 3 for the 'village' category. That's despite the fact that the place was last described as a village in the 1301 census, the same weekend the Langport Arms went on the market.
"Langport has earnt its place in the village category due to its small population" said a town councillor.
