...as Earthquake hits central Langport...
This was the scene at the Langport Arms last night as a major earthquake threw partygoers to the ground during a local man's 50th birthday celebrations.
25 of his relatives were injured when a plate of chicken drumsticks was catapulted into the crowd.
"It was terrifying" said one eyewitness, "I grabbed my cousin's uncle's sister's Dad's brother's nephew and threw him to the floor"
Despite the tremor, which measured 7.9 on the Richter Scale, none of the plates in the downstairs bar fell off the wall.
"They were glued on in 1963" said a spokesman.
