"Custard?"

 Yes please, Aunty Bet!

It may be a blurred old picture from the 70s but for may of us it'll bring back memories of lunchtime at Langport Primary School when Bet Blackmore would make sure our tummies were full before an afternoon of spelling tests with Mr Prewett, music with Mrs Cox or 'Number Work' with Mrs Derham.

Many thanks to Barbara Mills, Bet's daughter, for sending in the picture. Lots of Carry On Langport readers will remember her.

- and if anyone's got a picture of Mrs Con shouting "second sittings" from the top of the slope, that would be even better.

Aunty Bet helped us get through the 70s but it wasn't easy...

Watch this lot and give yourself a pat on the back, it's a miracle we survived.

Editor's Note: Apologies, the second one is really scary.
