You're doing a grand job!
Lots of gratitude going around these last few months to all our local businesses who've been keeping us all fed and watered etc during lockdown across the Langport and Huish area.
Gratitude well-deserved too.
But let's not forget our local convenience store One Stop and its staff.
OK, it's a chain and belongs to Tesco, but so what?
It's One Stop that's been keeping many of us watered [look at the state of your recycling] during the lockdown and more recently during the heatwave [look at Cocklemoor any day of the week!]
They are constantly restocking and trying to keep up with demand. Flat out by the looks of things...and a recent 'thank you' poster to Langport businesses by a local care group didn't even mention them.
Yet there they are 7 days a week.
Probably on the minimum wage, over worked and always serving with a smile.
THANK YOU ONE STOP STAFF - YOU HAVEN'T BEEN FORGOTTEN
