Amid increasing concern about the effect of extremely hot weather on the buildings of Bow Street this month, the Town Council has 'reached a compromise' with the Met Office and it's been decided that the sun will only be allowed to shine between 8pm and 4am for the next 8 days .
Letters regarding the change have already gone out in the post across the town.
