In a statement posted on its official website this morning, Tesco head office has announced that "it is with deep regret" that it has taken the decision to discontinue the air we breathe at the store in Langport.
"It was just proving too popular" said CEO Ken Murphy, "it was either that or double the price".
There are also unconfirmed reports the Langport store may soon be withdrawing the floor as well.
"Again, far too many people find it useful" said Mr Murphy, "so we're thinking of doing away with that too."

CHEAPSIDE BARBER RELOCATES
The Imperium barber shop in Langport has upped sticks and pushed its bosuns chairs across the pedestrian crossing.
It's now operating upstairs in the old NatWest bank.
Owner Jamie Bingham [pictured] who took home the gold medal in Headstand at the Black Swan earlier this month, says all of his clients have been informed and it's business as usual.
But he denied rumours that he was considering renaming the salon 'Edward Headstand Hands' saying he didn't feel the need to brag about his recent sporting win.

PRIEST LANE HORROR
Police say they're still trying to identify the remains of bodies found in this car at the top of Priest Lane last week.
It's believed 3 people from Bristol parked up there 9 months ago hoping to walk down to meet relatives living on North Street but without a SatNav and no mobile phone signal, they just sat there and waited for the local footpath to be reopened.
There are also unconfirmed reports one of them - a man in his 30s - got out and walked down to Bow Street to get some pork chops at the premises next to the Kebab shop.
Police say he also died of waiting.
